My name is Liz White and I am the guidance counselor for DeeMack Primary-Junior High School and Intermediate School. As guidance counselor, I provide individual and group counseling, teach life skills to grades K-6, work with the Problem Solving Teams to help provide interventions for students in need, assist families with resources, and promote involvement for the Junior High students in such things as the Teen Conference, Ropes Team Building Training, and community service projects.   

 

I received my bachelor's degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University and my master's degree in school counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi. I taught school in Missouri for 5 years before I switched to counseling. This is my 10th year as guidance counselor and my 8th year at DeeMack. You can find me at the Primary-Junior High on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the Intermediate School on Tuesday and Thursday.
