This is my 20th year in teaching, and our 16th year for the PreK At Risk grant.  I believe that parents are the first and most important teacher in the pre-school years.  For 3-4-5 year olds it is more important to know the developmental milestones than to master any teaching techniques.  By providing experiences and for language models, we can make our youngest students successful for their future schooling.
