Dynamic Indicator of Basic Early Literacy Skills
Students are tested 3 times a year in the areas of:
Kindergarten:

The data obtained through these assessments are used to create "DIBEL" groups to give students who are "at risk" an additional intensive small group session. These sessions are provided 5 days a week and Progress Monitoring tests are done to calculate growth. DIBEL groups change each testing period based on the assessment results.
