SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES 2009
Applications for local
scholarships are available in the office.
1. Andy Neitzer Scholarship This scholarship will be
awarded to the essay winner.
2. Art Club Scholarship This will be available Art
IV students. If interested see Mr.
Seibert.
3. C.R. Stout Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a student pursuing a degree in
Engineering, science or math based on achievement, future goals, and leadership
4. CBAI
Foundation & First Security Bank Community Banking Scholarship - $500
This local
scholarship is awarded to a student
based on a written essay relating to the effects of a local bank on the
community. Also, the winning essay in this local scholarship will be
submitted for a possible $4,000.00 scholarship awarded by CBAI Foundation in a
statewide competition. Application forms were previously
distributed.

Clyde Aeschliman Memorial
Scholarship Deer Creek Amerian Legion - $1000 One scholarship will be given at graduation. Awarded to students on the basis of Community service.
6. Deer Creek Legion Womens Auxilary #1276 - Two - $500
7. Gladys Garst -
$500 -
Awarded on the basis of scholarship, extracurricular activities, civic and
church activities, and educational goals.
8. Hammer Memorial - $500 - Awarded on the basis of need, scholarship, citizenship, and
leadership,
9. Hunkler-Stagen Teaching Scholarship - $2000.00 The criteria will be that the
student be accepted into a college and follows a curriculum that prepares them
for a teaching career.
10. ICC Board of Trustees Scholarship - Two years of free tuition ($2,000 - $3,000) -
Awarded to a top-ranking student attending ICC.
11. Mackinaw American Legion - $500 - Awarded to student with a 2.0 or higher GPA
who has demonstrated exceptional hard work, exhibited a desire to continue
their education and have a financial need.
12. Mackinaw Masonic Lodge - $-1000 - Awarded to a student in the top fifteen
(15) of the class and has high moral value.
13. Sons of the American Legion Deer Creek American
Legion Two $500.00 scholarships will be given at graduation for the Deer
Creek Sons of the American Legion.
The scholarships listed
above are all awarded to Dee-Mack students at graduation. All Scholarships are subject to availability .

Henderson Family Scholarhsip This scholarship will be available to Dee-Mack
Graduates attending college to help with their junior and senior years of

Scholarship
Forms must be returned to the high school office by 3:30 p.m. on Friday,
February 6th, 2009.
