ACT Booklet including a Practice
To All
Parents/Guardians of Dee-Mack High School Students:
I would like to introduce myself as the school counselor intern this
year under Mrs. Duke. My name is Miss Putney and I am currently a
math teacher here at the high school. I will be in the counseling
office for the entire school year for a part of each day. I am in
my final year at Bradley University as a master’s student. At the
completion of my internship, I will be a certified school
counselor. I wanted to inform all parents/guardians that I will be
working one-on-one with some of your students and in small groups with
other students as part of my internship. Parents/Guardians will
receive a letter prior to any formal work with your child agreeing to let
me be his/her counselor. Mrs. Duke, as well as my supervisor from
Bradley, will be watching and guiding me along the way. I hope that
this will be a pleasant year for all of us and I would like to thank you
in advance for letting me work with your child. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact the high school.
